Meet Dee, owner of The Curl Company of GSO and founder of the Curl Company Concept. For over 30 years, the Greensboro native has served countless clients and provided product training for several companies to fellow hairstylists. In 2013, her love for the beauty industry reached new heights when she unlocked her true passion, curly hair! Dee became an instant champion for all things curly and actively sought ways to advance her knowledge and skills. She now solely focuses on Curly Hair Education and enjoys empowering clients with the tools, techniques, and product knowledge needed to maintain healthy beautiful curls.

Dorretta, our resident fashionista, brings her creativity and sparkling personality to the Curl Company of GSO every day. Her pursuit of the hair industry began over 30 years ago in her hometown of Virginia Beach. Since her early beginnings as a cosmetologist, Dorretta has always strived to make her clients look and feel their best. Fast forward to now, she continues to allow her creativity to shine through and is known for her fly haircuts and trending color. Over the years, only one thing has changed. Dorretta exclusively specializes in educating multicultural textured clients on how to care for their curls, coils, kinky coils, and waves.

Octavia advocates curl education and take pride in sharing her knowledge and skills with fellow stylists and curly girls. Our Curl Concept focuses on all things curly hair care! We teach the basics, including styling, product knowledge, curly cutting, and coloring curly hair. We also offer advanced programs that provide a hands-on experience and 1-on-1 instruction for individual stylists or groups. Our certification program ensures stylists have knowledge and experience in properly caring for curly hair of all types. Stylists who have met all requirements and completed a Curl Company Concept class receive certification. Certification levels span from Basic to Advanced.
