curl coaching for clients
Virtual or in person
Step by step instruction for curly clients. Hair should be cleansed conditioned and detangled before virtual session starts. To book a session contact your stylist via email and submit a request.

2 hour
curl coaching for professionals
Virtual or in person Wash and Go on your client
During the session, we will focus on the importance of consultation. You will receive step-by-step instructions on proper hydration, sectioning, product application, and styling tips. Drying suggestions will be given. If we decide your client/model needs to be diffused we will stay on virtually during that process and provide instruction. If a hooded dryer is suggested we will reconvene when the client is dry. You will then get styling tips and maintenance instructions for you to provide to your clients. You will also get marketing and pricing suggestions. This session is a MUST for any natural hairstylist.
Virtual coaching is available if needed, in person coaching is highly recommended.
You will need at least 5 alligator clips, a water bottle, and (products discussed before the session)

1-on-1 Curly Cutting Session
2-hour session
$350.00This is a one on one class for one individual. This is not a certification class. You will learn The Curl Company Cutting Concept. This class includes a live curly cut with step-by-step instruction.
You will have 1.5 hours to execute the cut on a mannequin. ( if you choose to use a live model, that model needs to be approved prior to session) you will need a mannequin, a mannequin tripod, 4 to 5 Alligator Clips, and shears.

Group Certification Class
5 hour Session
This class can be held at our location with 6 - 10 people. It can be held in your location with 6 - 15 attendees. The salon owner receives 20% off with 6 attendees, not including the owner, 50% off for 7 to 14 attendees, free certification with 15 attendees. (Travel expenses will be included)
In the 1.5 hours, you will learn The Curl Company Cutting Concept. This class includes a step-by-step demo on a mannequin. After a brief break, you will execute the cut with one on one assistance. You will need 5 Alligator clips and shears. Mannequin and stand will be provided for all attendees.

Advanced Certification
2-day session
This session will include learning The Curl Company Concept in Cutting, Coloring, and Styling. Day 1 you will work on Mannequin executing 2 cuts and 1 Paint Work technique. Day 2 you will work on live models. This Class is in-person only, at our location or yours. You will leave a Certified Curly Hair Specialist. You will be a Curl Concept Trained and Certified Professional.
Once you complete this certification course, you will be listed on our Stylist Finder as (Level 2 CR). Once you execute 5 high-quality Curl Concept Cuts you will be (Level 3 CHR). You will also receive pricing and marketing tips, ongoing support, and education. We would love for you to join the team.
